Mark “Mr. B” Braun will be performing his annual Thanksgiving weekend show this Saturday, November 28 at 8pm. Be sure to catch the show virtually from The Ark’s Facebook page.
During this time of year, music lovers in Ann Arbor may already have reserved your tickets for Mark “Mr. B” Braun’s annual Thanksgiving weekend show at The Ark this Saturday, November 28 at 8pm. Usually, there would be a long line of excited listeners that winds up and around Main and Liberty streets, patiently awaiting their turn to enter the venue.
This year, things look a little different. All you’ll need to attend this Thanksgiving ritual is your favorite chair and beverage, and access to The Ark’s Facebook page. Mr. B will be playing his boogie-woogie, singing the blues and jump blues, and showcasing several new tunes that he’s written during the pandemic, with accompaniments by drummer Julian Van Slyke.
Listeners won’t need tickets to attend, but there will be a virtual “tip jar” available during the performance where donations can be easily made and are much appreciated.
Come join The Ark and Mr. B for some Thanksgiving fun and some great music from the comforts (and safety) of your own home!
Remember to tune in to The Ark’s Facebook page on Saturday, November 28 at 8pm!
