Local small businesses are offering late night shopping events for the first three Fridays in December. Get a head start on your shopping (safely).
For the first three Firdays in December, three downtown area districts will be hosting special shopping events to help local Ann Arbor small businesses. Patrons can get a head start on finishing their holiday wishlists throughout this weekend. Different restaurants and businesses will offer in-store and online discounts and sales while staying open a little later than usual.
These events and savings will take place on December 4, 11, and 18.
The State Street District will host their annual shopping event, Moonlight Madness, across all three Fridays. You’ll be able to get discounts at stores, check out festive art, and save at restaurants from some of the best local spots. Discounts from Bivouac, Mary Hamby Jewelry, and the MDen will be offered.
Once you finish in the State Street District, head over to Kerrytown to check out their Festive Fridays. Unfortunately, KindleFest has been canceled this year due to COVID. However, the downtown district plans to show its festive spirit with special holiday promotions and a cheery atmosphere. You’ll be able to take part in special holiday promotions and check off items on your shopping list!
Then you can head over to Main Street for even more deals for its annual late-night shopping deals, Midnight Madness. Stores and restaurants along Main Street will host deals running until midnight in-store and online. Some specials include sales from Four Directions, Real Seafood Company, and Ten Thousand Villages.
When you go to shop, remember to stay safe, wear a mask, and social distance! Check out the Midnight Madness, Festive Fridays, and Moonlight Madness websites for more up to date information as our COVID situation changes.
