Blue LLama Jazz Club Kicks Off Livestreaming Concert Series with Mandolin.com

Blue LLama Jazz Club is starting 2021 with the right foot forward. The Blue LLama will begin a livestream concert series with Mandolin.com, featuring Diego Rivera Quartet and Djangophonique

In collaboration with the music industry’s leading livestream platform, Mandolin, the Blue LLama Jazz Club will feature a livestream concert series with Andrew Brown’s Djangophonique and The Diego Rivera Quartet in 2021. These ticketed livestream concert events will feature 75 minute performances from these stellar jazz ensembles, as well as VIP meet and greet sessions with each artist via online Zoom conference.

Join the Blue LLama on Saturday, January 23 at 8pm and listen to some sweet music by Andrew Brown’s Djangophonique, which will feature guest vocalist Leila Shaye. They will perform Django Reinhardt inspired gypsy swing, lush ballads, musette waltzes, jazz standards, boleros, and mood minor pieces, all fused together with theatrical flair and musical humor.

On Saturday, January 30, The Diego Rivera Quartet will feature music from his upcoming full length CD released on Posi-tone Records “Indigenous,” featuring Diego Rivera on saxophones, Rodney Whitaker on upright bass, Rick Roe on piano, and Michael Reed on drums and cymbals.

“We are excited to present livestreamed and socially distanced concerts from the stage at the Blue LLama Jazz Club. We hope to reopen for in-person performances and dine-in service as soon as we can, but we must first wait until conditions improve for everyone.”
