The Ann Arbor Art Center Announces the 13 Annual Artini

The Ann Arbor Art Center is teaming up with Ann Arbor Distilling Company to bring us the 13th Annual Artini fundraising event!

The Ann Arbor Art Center (A2AC) is hosting a virtual toast on Friday, February 26. Everyone is welcome to come enjoy a virtual toast and cocktail with some of the best bartenders in the area.

Due to COVID-19, this event will take place virtually rather than in-person. However, that doesn’t mean that the fun won’t be present. Patrons are encouraged to come enjoy a drink and support local art all in one go!

Patrons are able to meet the A2AC’s celebrity bartenders in a cocktail competition. These proceeds will go towards helping to keep the A2AC funded. The fundraiser starts on Friday, February 26. Come pick up a cocktail kit at the Ann Arbor Art Center, which will contain four different cocktails. Each cocktail was created by one of the four bartenders competing. Then, from February 26 until March 5, samplers will vote for their favorite cocktail.

To keep the community safe, the A2AC has teamed up with the Ann Arbor Distilling company to help bring Artinis straight to us!

Each cocktail takes inspiration from one of the local A2AC murals. Bartenders starring in this event are Alex Milshteyn (taking inspiration from Gary Horton), Parveena Ramaswmi (with inspiration from Midnight Olive), Dan Rivkin (with inspiration from Ouizi), and Lisa Sauve (with inspiration from Ann Lewis).

Tickets are $125 and include:

  • Four different canned cocktails; one created by each of the celebrity bartenders
  • All necessary garnishes
  • A tasting guide created by the Ann Arbor Distilling Company and the A2AC to curate your Artini-at-Home experience
  • Access to the Artini-at-Home Event Page that will be filled with engaging content and contests
  • An invitation to join us in a virtual toast to kick-off the 13th Annual Artini, and a week later, winner announcements

Over the last twelve years, Artini has raised well over $220,000 to ensure that everyone has access to the visual arts. As a non-profit organization, a portion of your ticket purchase is a tax-deductible donation to the Art Center.
