Marijuana Regulatory Agency Issues Recall of Pre-Rolls

The Marijuana Regulatory Agency has issued a recall of certain ‘pre-rolls’ from various dispensaries across Michigan due to individual licking the product while making them.

The Marijuana Regulatory Agency (MRA) issued a recall of contaminated “pre-rolls” from retail outlets across Michigan. There has also been a stipulated and agreed to 14-day suspension of the medical and adult-use processor licenses of 3843 Euclid LLC in Bay City, pending further investigation by the MRA.

On July 30, the MRA started an investigation into the operation of 3843 Euclid LLC’s medical marijuana and their adult-use processor facility after information from an individual that pre-rolls were being licked while being made. The sale and transfer of all pre-rolled products in 3843 Euclid LLC’s inventory has been put on administrative hold during the investigation. The investigation is ongoing and, until a conclusion has been made, 3843 Euclid LLC has ceased all processing activities as of July 31.

Consumers who have contaminated pre-rolls are to return them to the provisioning center or retailer they were purchased from to properly dispose of them. Provisioning centers must notify patients and caregivers who purchased these pre-rolls to inform them of the recall.
