Ziggy’s in Ypsilanti will groove into 2023 with an all-gold-themed New Year’s Eve celebration featuring music by DJ AM Gold and DJ Golden Feelings playing vinyl records.

This event by Heads Over Heels Drag & Variety Shows and Keystone Bar & Arcade will host a lip-syncing competition featuring an all-star panel of judges and more!
The winner will judge the late show of the smackdown competition and receive a crafted crown made by Ypsilanti artists. Following, The Keystone Bar & Arcade will host a 90’s/2000’s themed dance party to bring in the new year.

On NYE, Ypsilanti’s Tap Room will host drag bingo & live performances from Boylesque, a Ypsilanti drag troupe. The event will be hosted by drag queen Jadein Black and proceeds from ticket sales will be used to purchase gift cards for area teachers and pharmacy workers.

Blue LLama Jazz Club: Dinner & Show

The Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase will bring in the new year with standup comedian, Al Jackson, a Los Angeles-based writer known for his 30-minute special “Comedy Central Presents: Al Jackson.” The Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase will host a midnight champagne toast to bring in the new year.
