WSG Gallery is excited to announce the grand opening of its new location on Ann Street. With this grand opening, WSG Gallery also announces their latest exhibit, “New Beginnings,” which will take place from September 15 to October 31.
WSG Gallery members have been hard at work preparing the gallery’s new space. The gallery closed its previous location last year but has since found a new space, a new look, and a new location for patrons to come to enjoy some local art.
“After much searching, we found our new E. Ann Street location last spring and have put so much work into renovating and preparing the space for the September 15 opening,” says Barbara Brown, book artist and member of WSG Gallery. “We can clearly see that this portion of the Kerrytown district is becoming an arts area, vibrant with shopping, art, and music, and we are excited about being a part of it and all the wonderful events that happen around us!”
Starting on September 15, WSG Gallery will be hosting its Grand Opening week. Art enthusiasts are welcome to stop by, say hello, and even enter a raffle. WSG Gallery will be hosting a raffle for a $100 gift card, which patrons are welcome to participate in.Â
Artists for WSG include Sara Adlerstein, Cathryn Amidei, Barbara Brown, Francesc Burgos, Lynda Cole, Karin Wagner Coron, Connie Cronenwett, Michelle A. Hegyi, Adrienne Kaplan, Valerie Mann, Ted Ramsey, Elizabeth Schwartz, Takeshi Takahara, and Nora Venturelli.Â
“We are looking forward to getting to know all the businesses that will be our new neighbors and we have already begun to work with the Gutman Gallery on Fourth Ave to be involved with Artober Fest coming along in early October,” Brown states.
The WSG Gallery Grand Opening: “New Beginnings” exhibit will include painting, sculpture, weaving, encaustic, and artist books to check out.
Masks will be mandatory to enter the space. Additionally, the number of visitors to the gallery will be limited to ensure patron safety.
