Roeda Studio is closing its doors after 17 years in downtown Ann Arbor. As the lease for the business ends, the store has made the decision to close its Ann Arbor location. However, this isn’t the end of Roeda Studios. You can still find their cute, quirky, and fun items at their Grand Rapids location. 319 S. Main St., Ann Arbor. 734-994-3389. roedastudio.com. 

Ann Arbor sees the opening of its fourth Qdoba location. The latest location, on Zeeb Road, will feature their classic menu plus patrons will be able to choose their own meals. Bridge Community Cafe will be opening its doors later this fall. Although there isn’t much in the way of information, the cafe has found its location in downtown Ypsilanti. According to the businesses Instagram, they will also be announcing mural projects, ways to get involved, local business and non-profit collaborations, and more. Milan is seeing some changes in its businesses. Local bookstore Adventure, Ink has moved locations to Milan’s beautiful Main Street. You can find their wide array of books and comics right in the heart of Milan. 108 E. Main St., Milan. 734-545-8899. adventureink.xyz. 

Thompson & Co. is the latest southern cuisine restaurant in Ypsilanti. Located in historic Depot Town, Thompson & Co ran a soft opening earlier in August. Their doors are officially open for you to come try out. The 11,000 square foot location has both indoor and outdoor seating as well as private dining spaces for parties. In addition to Thompson & Co, the Thompson Block is said to be opening Mash Whiskey Bar at the same location. Not too much is known about the Whiskey bar just yet, but it’s set to open on September 30. However, Thompson & Co and Mash Whiskey Bar are to be seen as two concepts of the same entity. 

A new Lefty’s Cheesesteak will be opening its doors in the middle of the month. Lefty’s Cheesesteaks is a Michigan chain of eateries that serves some of the best Philly cheesesteaks. They also offer a variety of other sandwiches, sides, treats, and more. On September 3, Ann Arbor will see a new dispensary opening its doors! New Standard will open its doors and welcome customers to come and check out their products. From edibles to flower, there is something there for everyone. The dispensary boasts a customer-experience-focused experience and is located right on Main Street at Depot, making it an easy stop for both in-store customers and curbside pick-up. 811 N.
