The Amplify Project Hosts Kickback Show with Kenyatta Rashon on March 20

The Amplify Fellowship is hosting a ticket virtual Kickback show featuring Kenyatta Rashon to benefit Do You See What I See. Here’s how to buy tickets and attend the show!

Local R&B vocalist Kenyatta Rashon will be part of a ticket virtual fundraising show hosted by The Amplify Project on Saturday, March 20 at 7pm. The fundraising show will go towards helping Do You See What I See, a local organization that supports female mentorship and empowerment.

The show is part of a series of concerts and panel discussions aimed at supporting community organizations in Washtenaw County called Amplify Kickback. Artists from The Amplify Fellowship will be featured while a community organization will receive a portion of the proceeds from the ticketed livestream event.

The Amplify Project is an umbrella of initiatives intended to support the intersection of community engagement and artistic expression in Washtenaw County. Sponsored by Leon Speakers and Grove Studios, The Amplify Fellowship supports the creative efforts of musicians with recording and engineering costs in exchange for volunteer service to local nonprofits and supportive agencies in the country.

Rashon, a current Amplify Project fellow and Ypsi native, will participate in March while Ann Arbor Fellows Dani Darling and London Beck will perform in April and May.

“Bringing the artists and the organization representatives together in this way just makes sense,” said Maia Evans, co-founder of The Amplify Project. “We’re hoping to show our audience the incredible journey of both the fellows and the communities they serve. Along the way, we hope to establish the Leon Loft as a community space, and we are extremely grateful for the sponsorship and support we have already received.”
