The Whitney: Fine Dining and Drinks in Detroit’s Most Iconic Haunted Mansion

Michigan is full of history and lore. We also have our fair share of haunted houses. Detroit’s most iconic mansion, The Whitney, is opening its doors three times a week for patrons to enjoy a delicious dinner in a haunted mansion!

Patrons will be able to enjoy an evening in a haunted mansion, complete with live entertainment and delicious drinks to ease those nerves. The Whitney mansion is world-famous upscale dining in Detroit. This Detroit landmark holds the classic Detroit charm from 1894. The Whitney provides several unique features within the historical property. There’s a fine dining restaurant, menu dining throughout the mansion, The Ghostbar, and gardens that are dying to be explored. Each space has its own unique appeal, and guests may find themselves wandering for hours within the enchantments of the estate.

Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, the Whitney also hosts Late Night Paranormal Tours. You’ll be able to tour the Whitney Mansion and Carriage house while sipping on an Award-Winning Witching Cocktail. Or, even better, enjoy the Paranormal Dinner Tour, which takes place on the 1 and 4 Sundays of every month. You can enjoy a tour by the Paranormal Hosts as they guide you through the history and legends of the Whitney family and estate while enjoying a Historical Champagne Tour of the Mansion, a four-course dinner, and a Paranormal expedition through the mansion, gardens, and Carriage house.

It doesn’t have to be Halloween for you to get your spook on. Anyone over 21 is able to come and enjoy an evening of frights, sights, and drinks with The Whitney. And be sure to keep your eyes open, you never know what you may find.

To ensure social distancing, be sure to make reservations before arrival. Social distancing and other safety regulations will be in place.
