The Encore Musical Theatre Company is seeking Equity and non-equity video submissions for roles in their 2021/2022 theatrical season. Actors of all ethnicities, genders, identities, abilities, and ages are encouraged to submit an audition tape for consideration.
When submitting videos, please submit two, one-minute musical selections of your choosing. If interested in dancing principal or chorus roles, please also submit your reel, an excerpt from an archival recording, or a self-tape of a combination of your choosing.
For season 13, The Encore will be casting for the following opportunities:
- Five Mainstage Musical Productions, which will range from golden age to contemporary to the premiere of a new work;
- One holiday event;
- Four Tribute Concerts featuring the music of popular artists ranging from Queen to Stevie Wonder; Elton John and Billy Joel to Diana Ross and the Supremes.
The season runs from August 2021 through July 2022, and will open The Encore Musical Theatre Company’s new 20,000 square-foot facility in downtown Dexter.
Please note, all current and applicable COVID-19 safety precautions, which includes social distanced audiences in The Encore’s flexible seating facility, will be strictly enforced.
