Jazz vocalist Ramona Collins and her quartet will perform a livestreamed and in-person concert with the Blue LLama Jazz Club. Here’s how to enjoy a Saturday night of dance, food, and great music.
What’s better than a Saturday night of good jazz and good food? Honestly, not much. Jazz vocalist Ramona Collins is scheduled to perform a livestream concert and in-person event at the Blue LLama Jazz Club in Ann Arbor at 8:30pm on March 20.
The Blue LLama will be collaborating with the music industry’s leading livestream platform, Mandolin.com, to feature the livestream Collins and her classic quartet. The Blue LLama will be opening its doors for the event and feature Executive Chef Louis Goral’s curated Tasting Menu. The menu includes Yuzu Spheres, Crispy Quail, Caccio e Pepe, Tagliatelle, Rainbow Trout Almondine, Seared Duck Breast, and much more. Advanced tickets are available for “Dinner and a Show,” which is a dine-in offering, on Blue LLama’s website.
Hours of operation for the Blue LLama Jazz Club will be 6 to 11pm, but two live sets will take place. One live set will beat 7pm while the other will take place at 8:30pm.
Ramona Collins is a Toledo native that shows how the old school is as good as gold. This night will feature classic jazz; swingin’, hot and cool, and foot-tappin’ tunes for an evening of fun. Her voice is in great shape, as evidenced from her take on the standard, “Days of Wine and Roses.” Additionally, her band is par excellence, featuring Cliff Monear on piano, Nick Colandro on Bass, and David Alvarez III on drums.
“We are excited to present live streamed and socially distanced in-person concerts from the stage at the Blue LLama Jazz Club. We look forward to welcoming Ramona back to the stage, as she always swings and brings that classic jazz vibe to the club.”
