Delicious chicken wings are right around the corner! Side Biscuit opens its doors to provide the perfect place to pick up the perfect wings.
Good chicken wings used to be hard to come by, but not anymore. Side Biscuit opened its doors on March 13, making it one of the best places to pick up delicious chicken wings.
Jordan Balduf was the executive chef at Homes Brewery before deciding to pursue his passion of owning his own restaurant. For a while, the business ran as a pop-up, which he ran in his driveway. However, he was receiving numerous orders in a short period of time. The pop-up style chicken wing stop ran for twelve weeks before moving his pop-up to local restaurants. His wings could be found at local restaurants such as York, Cultivate Coffee, Taphouse, jBeer Grotto, and more.Â
This encouraged him to open the doors to Side Biscuit. Located on 1232 Packard St., Side Biscuit’s menu is made up of primarily, you guessed it, chicken wings. However, there are a few items definitely worth checking out, such as chips and dip, salads, and biscuits.
The restaurant doesn’t have any places to sit and functions primarily as a to-go space. Patrons are welcome to come up and pick up their orders, but there isn’t too much space to sit. However, the restaurant does have eight tables and chairs located right outside.
Balduf has worked at numerous places in Ann Arbor, including several well-known restaurants. His experience from Zingerman’s Community of Business, Spencer, the Takoi pop-up, and 327 Braun Court are sure to shine through in his latest restaurant.
