The Toledo Zoo is excited to announce the return of their ZOOtoDO event, which is set to return on September 17 from 6pm until midnight. Come enjoy an evening at the Toledo Zoo with this black tie and tennis shoe event.
So what do you do at a ZOOtoDO? This is one of Toledo Zoo’s most beloved annual events. You’ll have a chance to try some of the best restaurants and caterers in the area. A variety of different restaurants from around Toledo will come to share their delicious food. This includes Maumee Bay Brewing Co., Brown Dog Gelato Co., Claude’s Prime Seafood, and so much more. They’ll be offering their house specialties for patrons to try.
You’ll have the opportunity to sip delicious flocktails and listen to live music. Live entertainment will be happening throughout the event and will include guests such as Dave Carpenter, Velvet Joes, Decorative Sounds DJ, and Fu5ion. Explore the expanded areas, which offer plenty of room to roam, and open air food stations. To ensure the safety of everyone at the event, there will also be an increase in sanitization and safety practices throughout the event.
You can also try out a few of the fun activities the event is hosting. Take a train ride around the Africa! exhibit during the preview party. Additionally, there will be a Tower Ridge giraffe feed deck & Arctic Encounter, which will be open during the preview party. If these exciting opportunities don’t strike your fancy, head over to the aquarium to enjoy the touch tank, which will be open.
Last year, the ZOOtoDO did not happen due to COVID. However, this year’s festivities will surely make up for missing last year!Â
There are a variety of tickets available for the event, which will give you different perks that may be worth checking out. The Lounge Premium Experience will give you all of the above-mentioned, and exclusive parking and entry, live entertainment by TSA Steel Drum Band & Tumbao Bravo, and so much more.
In order to participate, guests must be at least 21. This event is a rain or shine event, so be ready to show up regardless of the weather. Tickets must be purchased in advance through the Toledo Zoo’s website.
