Krampusmrkt: Handmade Holiday Bazaar

For a spookier holiday experience, the organizers of Holy Bones Festival are hosting their second annual Krampusmrkt Handmade Holiday Bazaar.

The event has expanded to the Ypsilanti Freighthouse due to the popularity of last year’s event. Come to the Krampusmrkt to peruse the tables of vendors who are showcasing a variety of “creepy, holiday-themed goods.” Along with these goods, each vendor will showcase at least one item featuring Krampus himself, a figure from folklore who scares misbehaving children at Christmas time.

Date: Saturday, Dec. 3

Time:  3-9 p.m.

Location: Ypsilanti Freighthouse, 100 Market Place, Ypsilanti.

Halfway to Halloween Takes Over Christmas

Vendors will be selling such goods as gothic-themed gifts, costumes, custom pieces. Visitors will also have a chance to support a good cause, as the event coordinators have partnered with the Siren Eaton Shelter and are offering free admission with the donation of a cleaning product of toiletries.
