A new place to eat, work, socialize and stay has recently opened in Ann Arbor. In the building formerly known as Lucky’s Market, 1919 S Industrial Hwy, Ann Arbor, Venue by 4m has provided the community with a multi-purpose gathering space.
The concept of a 15-minute neighborhood is one of 4M’s missions in order to meet the community’s wants and needs within a 15 minute walk, bike or public transportation.
To further this point, Venue has a partnership with May Mobility to provide the community rides to their locations.
Make sure to arrive at Venue hungry, but be aware that you will have a tough time deciding which menu item to order. Venue offers not one but four different menus for customers to choose from, with one more menu on the way.
Chef Thad Gillies, former chef and owner of Logan Restaurant, is the executive chef at Venue.
He crafted 4 different menus at Venue, each utilizing high quality ingredients and preparation. Venue’s diverse menus include Pasta Forum, Pizza Forum, Mesa Taqueria and Venue Brasserie.
Pasta Forum serves a variety of hand-made pasta dishes including carbonara, goat cheese ravioli, Ricotta Gnocchi with Arugula Pistachio Pesto and more.
If you are craving pizza, Pizza Forum offers Neapolitan-style pizza with options such as molto carne, salmon and avocado and margherita.
Mesa Taqueria has a menu full of authentic Oaxacan street tacos with traditional hand-made masa tortillas.
Venue Brasserie showcases the colorful flavors of provincial French cuisine.
One of the items on the Venue Brasserie menu is the porchetta Sandwich. Everything about this sandwich is from scratch, making each element independently shine.
The delicately cooked porchetta is juicy and tender with a crispy exterior. It is evenly seasoned with fennel pollen, rosemary, mild chilies, and garlic.
To make the sandwich even more mouth watering, it is served on soft house-made focaccia and topped with arugula, oven-dried tomatoes, and a 30-year sherry vinaigrette.
Venue also accommodates gluten free guests with certain substitutions and a separate fryer.
Adding Karl’s, by chef Kate Williams, is on Venue’s horizon. Karl’s will feature a high end breakfast option.
To pair with your meal, or to just grab a drink with friends, Venue offers a wide selection of cocktails, wine and beer at Bar19.
Some of their house cocktails are the sunset spritz, paradise found and tropic thunder.
A selection of unique mocktails are also available.
Be sure to stop by Venue during happy hour Monday – Friday 3-6 p.m to get $3 draft beer and half off all house cocktails and mocktails. They also offer $10 select pizzas and Mesa Taqueria specials during happy hour.
If you need a place to watch a University of Michigan football game, Venue is just a half mile away from the stadium. With the benefit of east parking and giant screens, Venue is a great spot to comfortably watch the big game. They also offer happy hour pricing on game days from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Not only is it a restaurant, but Venue is also a place where you can rent space to work.
The cozy yet modern interior of Venue is the perfect mix to promote productivity. There are several different options for people with varying needs.
Venue’s dedicated desk plan costs $400 and includes 24/7 desk access, monthly conference room tokens, access to Tesla Vehicles and more.
Venue offers a Coworking Day Pass for $35 if you just want to stop by for the day to work.
