Hear his celebrated slide guitar playing and original songwriting at the Michigan Theater on June 22. Cooder has collaborated with a huge variety of acclaimed musicians including Captain Beefheart, The Rolling Stones, Randy Newman, Eric Clapton, among many more. His solo work crosses and blends many genres like blues, country, gospel, and world music, earning him an impressive six Grammy Awards over the course of his long career.
