Working Remote but Need Space? A Complete List of Washtenaw’s Shared Workspaces

Shared workspaces provide access to an established collaborative environment for workers of various different industries to work alongside one another. 

There are several different reasons an individual, group or business may opt to work in a shared workspace. In addition to access to office or desk space and conference rooms, some workspaces have extra amenities for members. 

The Ann Arbor area has several different shared workspaces which vary in price and fit into the needs of different types of workers. 

Ann Arbor 

Venue 

Venue offers a range of coworking spaces which promote comfort and creativity.

Ann Arbor’s newest Coworking space is Venue. In addition to an event space and restaurant, Venue offers a large coworking space and various options for workspaces. Venue offers a dedicated desk plan for $400. This plan includes 24/7 desk access, monthly conference room tokens, access to Tesla Vehicles and more. If you want to just stop by Venue for the day to work, a Coworking Day Pass is $35. 

Cahoots

Full time, flex desk and part time plans are available. The full time plan is $425 a month and includes access to a dedicated workspace at all times, an electric sit/stand desk, an office chair, call and meeting spaces, house car use and access to a health spa for an additional cost. A flex desk is $475 a month and is a workspace shared between two members. The part time plan includes a few of the same perks at $239 a month.

Workantile

Located downtown Ann Arbor, this office space is an office space for independent workers. A Dedicated Desk Member or Family Membership starts at $375/month. There is a full membership starting at $225 a month where desks are first come first served. For workers who plan to frequent the office less, there is a Affiliate Member plan

Office Evolution

Work close to downtown at an office space at Office Evolution. Private office spaces start at $940 a month, which includes $60 of meeting room time a month, High Speed Wi-Fi internet and more. Conference rooms start at $30 an hour. A Business Address Plan and Live Answering Plan are also options available for businesses.

Regus

Regus is a fully serviced coworking space that includes a WiFi, a reception and support team, access to printers and more. Screenshot from regus.com

Within this three story curved glass atrium is 55 private offices and three meeting rooms. Offices start at $270 per month. Virtual offices are also offered at $90 a month that includes main handling and a professional business address.

Tech Brewery

For $225, dedicated desks can be rented and include wifi and access to a kitchen, conference room, foosball and pool table. A shared desk plan is also available for $75 a month. There is one large meeting room with 6 chairs and a whiteboard.

The Back Office Studio

Several different office space options are available for workers including a private office for $750 a month, a dedicated desk for $275 a month and a virtual option for $50 a month. Day passes are also available at $20 a day.
