The University of Michigan Health System is hiring 500 people to staff the new U-M children’s and woman’s hospitals opening in November.

The 1.1 million square foot complex, which will be home to the C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospital, is looking for advanced-practice nurses such as neonatal nurse practitioners and pediatric intensive care nurses, as well as other specialized nursing staff, clerical employees, radiology techs, lab techs janitors and ambulatory care staff.
