Here’s what’s happening locally this month in Washtenaw County: openings, closings, and business updates in Ann Arbor, Saline, Chelsea, Dexter, Ypsilanti, Milan and more.

Venue has opened at 1919 S. Industrial Highway, Ann Arbor. This new spot includes a place to dine, work and hold events all under one roof. Options are plentiful at Venue since they offer several menus.

1923 opened at 320 Miller Ave, Ann Arbor. A husband and wife duo has turned a double-decker Bus from England into what they refer to as a “bustaurant.”   Food from a range of cultures are available on the menu including falafel, tacos and rolled ice cream.

Havana Cigar and Cocktail Lounge has opened at ​​207 N. Main St, Ann Arbor. In addition to a range of cigars, Havana also serves craft cocktails and food. Many of their island inspired cocktails feature variations of rum. Tapas are also available at the lounge.

Ann Arbor Muffler plans to reopen soon at 2333 Jackson Ave, Ann Arbor. The business was previously closed following a fire in July 2021.

Worth noting: 

Moonwinks Cafe in Dixboro now has new owners. New owners Kevin Cox, Patrick Cox and Nathan McCardell still operate Moonwinks at 5151 Plymouth Rd, Ann Arbor. Moonwinks was previously owned by Josie Ann Lee and Chris Draybuck since 2018.
