OG Oktoberfest
Celebrate Oktoberfest with food, beer, live music and a good time with the Milan community. Around 2pm, there will be German food available, including Dearborn Smoked Kielbasa, Metzgers German potato salad, beer braised sauerkraut, fresh soft pretzels from Rich Grains Bakery and dessert from Botanical Bakeshop.Electric Flower Co. will take the stage at 6pm.

1st Annual Grass Lake Oktoberfest
The first annual Grass Lake Oktoberfest Is a celebration of beer, wine, cider, food, music, arts and crafts. It promises to be family-friendly as well. Proceeds benefit the Lost Railway Museum.

A2 Artoberfest
This event occurs on Ann Street and North Forth Avenue from Huron to Kerrytown. It highlights 100 jury-selected arts, live entertainment, lots of food/beverage options and other fun activities. Parking recommendations include the structure on the corner of Ann and Ashley or at 4th Avenue and Washington Street.

Donna Marie Iadipaolo is a writer, journalist, and State of Michigan certified teacher, since 1990. She has written for national publications like The Village Voice, Ear Magazine of New Music, Insurance & Technology, and TheStreet.
She is now writing locally for many publications, including Current Magazine, Ann Arbor Family, and the Ann Arbor Independent. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she graduated with an honors bachelor’s degree and three teacher certificate majors: mathematics, social sciences, English. She also earned three graduate degrees in Master of Science, Master of Arts, and Education Specialist Degree.
