Theatre Nova Performs “Death of a Driver”

Theatre NOVA, Ann Arbor’s resident nonprofit professional theatre, is putting on a production of “Death of a Driver” by Will Snider through June 9.
The plot revolves around the new friendship between Sarah, an American engineer and Kennedy, an East African driver, and the political conflict which they clash over.

The Theatre Nova production is directed by Shelby R. Seeley and features Sarah B. Stevens and Jalen Wilson-Nelem. The production and design team is made up of scenic designer Amanda Bates, lighting designer Jeff Alder, costume designer Micha Mallett, sound designer Kennikki Jones-Jones, properties designer Carla Milarch, accent coach Lynnae Lehfeldt, intimacy coordinator Kat Walsh and stage manager Briana O’Neal.

Theatre NOVA gives audiences the option to see program at a discounted price through their subscription service. Performances are on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. All Thursday performances will be mask-required. General admission tickets are $28. For those who need them, Theatre Nova also offers pay-what-you-can tickets.
