The Paint the Town Block pARTy will return on Tuesday, July 14. This is a free event that brings together residents, artists, musicians, creative businesses, families and visitors to connect and create.
The Paint the Town Block pARTy will take place on Main and Liberty Street from 5-9pm. David Zinn will be at the event, creating imaginative chalk creations. Guests can create alongside him with the provided chalk. There will be live music, featuring, DJ Batz, Ain’t Dead Yet, and Whoa Silent Disco.
Other exciting features of the event include animals with the Hands on Museum and Leslie Science & Nature Center, tile painting demonstrations by Motawi Tilework and street pickleball.
“Paint the Town is more than an art event—it’s an opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together and celebrate the creative community of Ann Arbor,” said Karen Bauer, Executive Director of The Guild of Artists and Artisans. “We are thrilled to welcome the community for an evening filled with color, creativity, and fun. A great way to kick-off the 2026 Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair!”
