On Sunday, April 21, Pilar’s Foundation will be holding a fundraising event tp support Doctors Without Borders and their efforts for Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
This will be Pilar’s Foundation’s Third Annual SPRING INTO ACTION Fundraiser Event. This event will take place at in the Lower Community Room at Zion Lutheran Church, 1501 West Liberty, Ann Arbor, from 4-6pm. Sit down dining will be offered.
There will be live music from local musicians, a Pinata and a Silent Auction. Many local businesses and restuarants are providing ingredients, dishes and gift certificates to this event. Among the many contributing businesses are Jerusalem Kitchen, Faz Pizza, 19 Drips and Bløm Mead Works.
Adult tickets are $75 and include one Pilar’s Tamale, curtido, casamiento – beans and rice, Hibiscus Iced Tea and more foods and gift items donated by local restaurants. Students with ID and children 16 and under can purchase tickets for $35, which includes one Pilar’s Tamale, curtido, Hibiscus Iced Tea, one slice of Faz Pizza and a cookie or brownie baked by Zion Church.
