Changes
Afternoon Delight’s owner Joanne Williams, who took over the restaurant at 251 E Liberty St. after the original owner Tom Hackett retired, will be retiring later this year.
Openings
Aperitivo is now open at 200 South Ashley St, Ann Arbor, serving wine, beer, mocktails, cocktails and snacks.
The Hadley Family Recreation & Well-Being Center is now open at the University of Michigan at 401 Washtenaw Ave. This new five-story recreation center is the largest recreational facility on campus.
Blessed Hands and Loving Hearts, Inc. is now open at 105 Pearl St., Ypsilanti. They offer health and wellness programs for youth, young adults and seniors, specifically physical wellness, emotional wellness, social wellness and life stability wellness.
Sandbox VR is now open at 215 E Washington St #131, Ann Arbor. This venue offers a virtual reality experience for groups of up to 6. There are locations throughout the world.
Coming soon
Sage’s Grocery is a new neighborhood specialty grocery store coming soon to Ann Arbor at 600 S. Main St., Ann Arbor. They will sell organic produce, imported pastas, authentic asian sauces and much more. They will also be serving food such as sandwiches, salads and breakfast.
The Apple Store located at Briarwood Mall will be moving to a larger space within the mall. The move is expected to happen by late July.
High Score Social is an arcade bar that will be opening at 14 W Michigan Ave., Ypsilanti, next year.
