Closings
Bitty & Beau’s Coffee at 305 S Main St, Ann Arbor, is temporarily closed. Their website says they are a “Human rights movement disguised as a coffee shop.” There are 19 other locations across the country.
Haymaker Public House is closed at 203 E Washington St, Ann Arbor. They were known for their trivia nights, pub food and beer.
Bobcat Bonnie’s has closed at 200 W. Michigan Ave., Ypsilanti. This restaurant has several other locations in Michigan and Ohio, such as Ferndale and Toledo.
Sushi town has closed at 740 Packard St., Ann Arbor after 18 years of operation. They have GoFundMe seeking help to move to a new location.

Openings
Uplift Ann Arbor is opening on Oct. 30 at 210 S First Street, Suite 100N, Ann Arbor. This is a LGBTQ+ bar. They plan to host drag brunches, trivia, dance parties and more.
Madras Masala has opened a second location at 1143 Broadway St. This Ann Arbor restaurant is known for serving authentic Indian cuisine.
Friday Soft Goods and Collectibles is a new store located at 21 E. Cross St., Ypsilanti. They sell clothing, music and movie merchandise, army surplus, Michigan art, DVD and VHS.
Putt-R-Round Mini Golf & Putt Arcade is now open at 108 W Michigan Ave, Ypsilanti. This is an arcade dedicated to mini golf. They also book parties.
KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot is now open at 3769 Carpenter Rd, Ypsilanti. Enjoy an interactive dinner with friends and family at this Korean BBQ/hot pot experience. There are several other locations of this restaurant throughout the country.
Other news
Jack’s Hardware has closed its doors at 740 Packard St, Ann Arbor, however, it is moving to 2401 S. Industrial Hwy., Ann Arbor.
Downtown Home & Garden will now only operate out of one storefront at 210 S. Ashley St., Ann Arbor. They previously occupied the next door storefront at 208 S. Ashley St., Ann Arbor.
