Here’s what’s happening locally this month in Washtenaw County: openings, closings, and business updates in Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Plymouth and more.

Coming soon

Papa Johns will be opening at Colonnade Shopping Center, 877 W Eisenhower Parkway on Dec. 26. The new location will be the only Papa Johns in Ann Arbor.

Bev’s Bagels is opening a new location at 115 E. Liberty St. The bagel shop’s oringial location is in Detroit at  4884 Grand River Ave. The owners stated that they plan to consider sustainability in this new location, a 1,500-square-foot space. They plan to open by fall 2026.

L.L.Bean will be opening at Briarwood Mall, 100 Briarwood Circle. This outdoor retailer’s second Michigan location, the first being in Mall at Partridge Creek in Clinton Township. The expected opening is next fall.

Opening

Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming is now open at 3157 Ann Arbor-Saline Rd., Suite C, Pittsfield Township. They care for all breeds and offer personalized pampering and salon-style grooming.

Closing

Blue Leprechaun is now closed at1220 S University Ave #109, Ann Arbor. The bar was open for 17 years.

Changes

Pinball Pete’s is moving into a new space downtown Ann Arbor in early January. The previous location has closed. The new location is at  500 E Liberty St, Ann Arbor.

Juicy Kitchen, 1506 N. Maple Road, plans to reopen in late February or early March. The restaurant had to close due to a fire. They are in the process of making all of the necessary repairs.

Zingerman’s Roadhouse, 2501 Jackson Ave., will be closed for 6 weeks for renovations, starting Jan. 4. During this time, customers can still get food on Sundays and Mondays at Zingerman’s Greyline. Additionally, its food trailer, the “SideShow,” will be serving limited breakfast and coffee orders for pick up as well as a rotating dinner menu.
