Annual Lobsterfest prepares for another year
Lobsterfest 2026 will take place June 17-21 from 4-10pm. for this five day event, Ashley’s ships in tons of Live Maine Lobsters for an “All-You-Can-Eat” experience. This is the 44th edition of the annual event. They also offer New England-style lobster rolls, traditional sides and more. On June 12, they will set the prices based on the wholesale price of Lobster.Last year, All You Can Eat Lobster was $90. The business recommends reservations. Tour Ireland with Echelon’s chef
Echelon’s Chef Joseph VanWagner and Bog & Thunder will host culinary tour of County Cork, Ireland. The week-long trip will be from Aug. 13-21. The cost is $9500 and it is limited to just 12 guests. The experience will include private workshops, the opportunity to dine at a Michelin starred restaurant and chef-hosted exclusive off-site meals. The trip will start with a stay at Ballymaloe House Hotel. Then, participants will travel to West Cork and stay at an estate on a private island.

Celebrate Father’s Day at a food truck festival
The Saline Food Truck festival will take place on Saturday, June 20 from 4-9pm at the Washtenaw County Farm Council Grounds, 5055 Ann Arbor-Saline Rd. The event includes a beer barn, touch-a-truck, live music and kids area. No pets are permitted at the event. Some of the food trucks include Bussin’ Bowls, Ritespice Kitchen and more. Zingerman’s holds garage sale at local high shcool parking lot
Zingerman’s will be holding a garage sale on Saturday, June 20, 8am-4pm, in the parking lot at Community High School. The event, in partnership with A²ZERO, will be selling pantry items, dish ware, artwork and more.
