Opening
Candy Coated Creamery is now open at 1076 N Huron River Dr, Ypsilanti. This new sweets shop sells specialty shakes, ice cream and other treats.
Fuel’d is now open at 980 W Eisenhower Pkwy Unit A, Ann Arbor. They offer customizable options for stir fry, salads and smoothies.
Coming Soon
Miny’s Mexican Restaurant will be opening a second location in August at 1141 Broadway St., Ann Arbor. They currently have a location in Ypsilanti Township which will remain open at 2866 Washtenaw Ave, Ypsilanti.
Business Changes
Booksweet co-founders Truly Render and Shaun Manning sold the book store to spouses Darcy Rhoden and Casey Thacker, Darcy’s brother Louis Rhoden and their dad Del Rhoden. Booksweet will remain open at 1729 Plymouth Rd., Ann Arbor.
Closing
Stone and Spoon, downtown Ypsilanti’s gift store, art gallery and event space is closing on September 1 at 110 W Michigan Ave, Ypsilanti.
