Closing
Turkish Village Cafe has closed at 120 E Liberty St., Ann Arbor. The business that took over the former Avalon Café and Kitchen location was only operating for about a month.
At Home, the home decor and furniture store, has closed at 3100 Washtenaw Ave, Ypsilanti.
Opening
Saigon Social House is in its soft opening at 521 E Liberty, Ann Arbor. This Vietnamese restaurant will serve small plates, signature dishes and dessert.
Coming soon
Solana is coming soon to Ann Arbor at 120 E Liberty St, Ann Arbor, the former Turkish Village Cafe location. Solana will be a traditional breakfast/brunch place with specialty drinks.
Block & Brew Cafe is coming soon to 529 E Liberty St, Ann Arbor. In addition to sandwiches, salad and snacks, they will be specializing in matcha, tea and Vietnamese coffee.
White Lotus Farms Café plans to open in October. This cafe is a bakery, cafe and market under one roof at 217 W Liberty Rd, Ann Arbor. This is owned by White Lotus Farms.
La Michoacana Ice Cream, 418 W. Michigan Ave, plans to open by the end of the year. It will be a Mexican ice cream parlor. Their progress was delayed after a vehicle recently crashed into the building.
