Opening
AC Marriott Hotel is now open downtown Ann Arbor at 310 E Huron St, Ann Arbor. This contemporary hotel is pet friendly and has several amenities. There is a restaurant on-site as well as a buisness center, meeting space and fitness center.
The Ranch Honky Tonk is now open at 122 West Washington (corner of Washington & Ashley) in Ann Arbor. This isa live-band-first country bar that aims to be known for music, beer and a crowded dance floor.
Trinity Health Livingston is preparing to move from its longtime Howell location to a newly built hospital in Brighton, with the transition culminating in a full opening on April 19, 2026. The move involves extensive coordination to safely transfer patients, staff, and equipment while maintaining uninterrupted care. The new facility at 7555 Grand River in Brighton.
Closing
Ann Arbor Running Co. at 209 S. Ashley St., Ann Arbor, is now closed. The company has two other locations that remain open at at 901 W. Eisenhower Parkway and 2621 Plymouth Road.
The Cellar by Grizzly Peak Brewing Company has closed at 117 South Ashley Street, Ann Arbor.
The Den, Grizzly Peak Brewing Company’s bar, has closed at 122 W. Washington St., Ann Arbor. It is the new home of the Ranch Honky Tonk.
Changes
Krazy Jim’s Blimpy Burger, is under new ownership as a group of local entrepreneurs steps in to carry it forward while keeping its distinct identity intact. The team plans to update operations, expand offerings, and renovate the space. They arr temporarily closed but have a reopening planned for late May.
