Electronic dance music trio Savoy have had one hell of a career—the once small-time Colorado jam-band has gone from playing tiny clubs to headlining Red Rocks Amphitheater. But here in the Midwest, they return to their roots,  playing the Blind Pig on October 8. Their music is a combination of dubstep and heavy electro with a live percussion base. Savoy performs as a trio using the computer program Ableton alongside a live drum-kit.

All of their music is available online at  savoymusic.com. Check out their fresh beats before you hit the show. 9pm. $12. The Blind Pig, 208 1st St. 734-996-8555. blindpigmusic.com
