On a walk through Ann Arbor’s downtown, the whimsical green exterior of Jasmine Bubble Tea and Eatery might catch your eye. Step inside and explore the delightful food and beverage menu they have to offer.
Jasmine is located in Ann Arbor’s tallest building, 340 Maynard St, Ann Arbor. They sell a wide variety of teas and juices and was started because the founder is a bubble tea lover. More and more people liked the teas that she made over the years, leading to her deciding to open the shop.
The Jasmine home page reads, “Jasmine is my mother’s favorite flower and tea. It is also the name of a famous song that I listened to a lot when I was a child. We also use Jasmine green tea to make one of our signature bubble teas, which will impress you with unforgettable aroma,”
Size-wise, Jasmine really is a hole in the wall. It is a generally cheery, well lit and cute space. There is bench seating for two, perhaps three, and a number of tables along one wall where groups of people sit and enjoy.
But it is not just teas. There are a number of noodle and veggie rolls and shu mai shrimp options. The food has a good mix of flavor and personality, while still being familiar.
Vegan, dairy-free, and caffeine free options are available. Prices range from $4.95 to $9.95.
