9 Edibles at Local Dispensaries

So you’re a fan of edibles, and you’re curious what some of Washtenaw County’s best edibles are. You’ve come to the right place! We talked to multiple local dispensaries and put together a list of the best quality edibles, with something for every budget.

Edibles are excellent for people who want to know how much cannabis they’re consuming, as edibles are reliably evenly dosed. Chocolate edibles can be especially popular because the richness of the chocolate can hide the “green” taste that other edibles might have.

Here are our budtenders’ top recommendations for edibles right now.

Gelato’s Last Bites

These artisanal ice cream cones were recommended to us by multiple dispensaries, included Herbology Cannabis and Cloud Cannabis. The ice cream cones blew up on TikTok last year and have been wildly popular ever since. According to Cloud Cannabis, these ice cream cones are specifically intended to “advance the evolution of the cannabis industry into mainstream–with a bit of colorful fun.”

Check out their cookies and cream white chocolate, peppermint, or birthday cake cones at 200mg and around $16.

Dank Extract Gummies

Grape is by far the most popular (and the favorite of the budtender we talked to!), but they have a variety of excellent flavors, including green apple, mango and strawberry. The grape gummies are 100mg (10/$15). These are extremely popular at Exotics Cannabis in Ypsilanti.

Made By a Farmer

This is one of Depot Town Cannabis Co’s favorite edibles. Fruity flavors include blueberry, grape and peach, and they run between 100-250mg, so you can pick the perfect dosage for you. Many of their edibles are also vegan. Their hemp CBD is all farm fresh, and it’s grown and processed right in Ann Arbor!

Wyld gummies

Grapefruit, boysenberry and pear flavors are top-sellers at Herbology Cannabis Co. The budtender I spoke with said these gummies consistently get cleared out by customers. The sativa grapefruit gummies are 200mg for $20.

Barracuda chocolates

These are one of our personal favorites. It’s a Detroit brand that uses high quality ingredients such as Belgian chocolate and pure distillate from Michigan-made Cannalicious Labs. The chocolates are so smooth and flavorful, with flavors like peanut butter, milk chocolate and chocolate caramel. A lot of local dispensaries sell them; Exotics Cannabis particularly recommended them.

Levitate gummies

They’re delicious, hit you fairly quickly and are handmade in small batches to ensure top quality. Check out their blue raspberry, key lime or watermelon flavors. The watermelon is 200mg at $10. Depot Town Cannabis Co. sees these gummies sell out consistently.

Kiva Confections

With brands such as Camino, Petra, Terra and Lost Farms — they have something for everyone. Their edibles are amazing because they are terpene-tailored with natural ingredients and fresh fruit, so every edible is deliciously high quality.

Check out their sour gummies, fruit chews, bites, or chocolate bars. The Camino midnight blueberry, for example, is 200mg at $15. Leaf and Bud carry these and see them sell out often.

Northern Lights

The budtender we talked to at Cloud Cannabis could not rave enough about these edibles.

“The s’mores flavor sells out the day we get it,” they said. “And it’s usually the people who work here who are buying them!”

That’s how you know it’s good — when your local budtenders love to get that flavor. The sea salt pretzel also came highly recommended. The s’mores, at 200mg, is $5.

Amnesia Zerds

There are also a popular brand, with decadent flavors such as lemon cheesecake, strawberry shortcake and pink lemonade. They’re 200mg (4/$20) and frequently sell out at Exotics Cannabis.
