Good news! There are a variety of 4/20 events happening within an hour’s drive of Washtenaw County for you to check out.
Whether you like brunch, comedy, painting or Easter eggs— we’ve got a suggestion for you to check out and celebrate!
Happening Saturday April 19, at 4pm in Detroit, this event features great food and great comedians. Brunch will include infused and non-infused food and a cash bar will be available. The brunch is curated by Chef AusLaFlare, the special guest headliner is Lavelle Dontae, and the performance is by Tierra Tanai.
Adult Easter Egg Hunt: 420 edition
On Sunday, April 20, from 6-10pm in Detroit, hunt for goody-filled Easter eggs in a 420 friendly environment with other cannabis lovers! Easter attire encouraged, good time required. Food and beverages will be available.
Cannabana Music Festival: Sukihana LIVE in Detroit
Promising to be one of the largest indoor 420 festivals, with multiple floors and stages of vendors and performances, this event is Saturday April 19 from 2-9pm in Hamtramck. There are early bird, general admission, and VIP tickets available. A variety of food and beverage options available!

Puff and Paint 420 R&B night
On 4/20 itself, check out this Puff and Paint with all your fav R&B hits. This Detroit event will be offering THC slushies, delicious edibles and infused finger foods for sale. You can also check out the cash bingo (with cash prizes and expensive items!) and karaoke hour! If you want booze, a bar will be serving drinks — and a live DJ will be spinning the tunes.
Pour, Puff and Paint
This event is only 18+, so if you have an older teen who might want to celebrate 420 with you, this could be the event! There will be food, cocktails (must be 21+ for booze) and painting. The event is BYOW, but food and cocktails are provided, with infused daquiris available for purchase. The event organizers promise the playlist is fire–perfect to “groove while you paint”. The event is in Detroit, Saturday April 26, from 6-10pm.
Roadtrip
420 Comedy Fest
Check out this comedy festival at Zip Cannabis’s Pipe Dream dispensary and outdoor consumption lounge in Hartford at 6pm on April 20th. The event is billed as provocative and hilarious–if you want a road trip, this might be for you!
420 Paint and Taste
Another artsy adventure — this time, you’ll be personalizing a 420 themed canvas. You’ll receive a special goodie bag, infused appetizers and drinks, and an infused treat. Everyone attending also gets a raffle ticket, Mary Jane trivia, and more! This event’s in Grand Rapids at 5pm, perfect for a happy hour vibe.
