On the last Tuesday of the month, The Ark hosts Take a Chance Tuesday—an event that allows concert goers to attend a show of a relatively unknown artist for free. This month, Perch Creek Family Jugband takes the stage, a five piece outfit out of Melbourne, Australia with a harmony-driven sound and string-forward musical arrangements. Canned food donations accepted for Food Gatherers.

8pm, July 28. Free. The Ark 316 S. Main St. 734-761-1800. theark.org
