On March 3, singer-songwriter Regina Spektor will be gracing the halls of the Michigan Theater to perform her most recent album among other works. This show is part of her “Feeling Better” spring solo tour that begins on March 1.
This tour has been long awaited, after initially being scheduled for Fall 2022. While Covid-related reasons pushed the tour back, Spektor is ready to wow the crowds, anticipating a full house in Michigan and around the country.
Spektor is well known for her song, “Fidelity” on her 2006 album “Begin ot Hope.”
Her work has also been featured in on soundtracks for film and television, notably, the title track of Netflix’s “Orange Is the New Black” titled “You’ve Got Time.” Other movies and shows her work has been featured in includes “(500) Days of Summer,” “Bombshell,” “Modern Love” and “How I Met Your Mother.”
Her most recent album, “Home, before and after,” was released June 24, 2022. It is critically acclaimed by Bob Boilen of NPR, The New York Times, NME and more.
She combines sharp beats and instrumental tracks with her light and soft vocal composition, making for a listening experience like no other.
With almost two decades of diverse experience, Spektor is a seasoned artist bringing diversity to her music and performances.
