COVID-19 Testing Locations in Washtenaw County

As COVID-19 testing continues, multiple clinics and hospitals in Washtenaw County are offering testing. Testing methods include nasal swab and blood draw options but vary by each location. Testing requirements and hours may change so please call ahead or check the website for the most up to date information. 

2/42 Community Center

LynxDx and 2/42 Community Center have partnered together to produce a drive thru testing site for those who register. This site does not require insurance for participants to be tested. Bring your driver’s license or state-issued ID and insurance card (if you have one). Results will be emailed or sent to your phone in 48 hours.

Ascent Urgent Care & Walk-In Clinic – Saline

Nasal swab testing available. Insurance and identification are necessary.

CVS – South Industrial 

Use CVS’ online portal to see if you are eligible to be tested. If you are eligible, you will be given the option to make an appointment. Bring photo identification and appointment confirmation to your appointment. If you have insurance, bring it when being tested. In-car testing only. Patients must be at least 18 years old. Upon arrival, stay inside your car until instructed otherwise. PCR testing done by a self-administered nasal swab.

CVS – West Stadium 

Use CVS’ online portal to see if you are eligible to be tested. If you are eligible, you will be given the option to make an appointment. Bring photo identification and appointment confirmation to your appointment. If you have insurance, bring it when being tested. In-car testing only. Patients must be at least 18 years old. Upon arrival, stay inside your car until instructed otherwise. PCR testing done by a self-administered nasal swab.

Fever and Upper Respiratory Illness Clinic at IHA Urgent Care – Ypsilanti

Must check in online using IHA’s save your spot tool. In-car testing only. Insurance and identification are required for testing.

Michigan Urgent Care & Occupational Health – Ann Arbor

Need to call and make an appointment, but a referral is not necessary. Testing will require full urgent care registration. Insurance and identification are required. Must be 12 years or older to get tested and patients under 18 need to have a guardian. Nasal swab and blood draw testing available at this location.

Packard Health – Ypsilanti

Nasal swab testing is offered to patients and non-patients regardless of if they show symptoms. No appointment, insurance, or prescription necessary. Photo identification required (and Insurance card if applicable). Results are ready within 2-5 days.

Prognify Urgent Care & Walk-in Clinic – Ann Arbor

Patients that may have been exposed to COVID-19 need to register using Prognify’s portal to have an online video visit. Swab testing available if determined necessary. Insurance and identification necessary.

Rite Aid – Ypsilanti

Must make an appointment using Rite Aid’s online portal. Must be at least 18 years old. Testing offered to patients regardless of if they show symptoms. Bring photo identification.

St. Joseph Mercy Hospital – Ann Arbor 

When entering the building, use the outpatient surgery center entrance. No appointment or referral necessary. If you have insurance or identification, bring it when testing. Swab testing used on-site for people who meet the CDC and State of Michigan testing criteria. Results are typically available within 24 hours.

St. Joseph Mercy Hospital – Professional Office Building – Chelsea

Park in the designated COVID-19 parking spots at the Professional Office Building. Call upon arrival to receive instructions about entering the building. No appointment or referral necessary. If you have insurance or identification, bring it when testing. Swab testing used on site for people who meet the CDC and State of Michigan testing criteria. Results are typically available within 24 hours.
