Buildings Demolished for New Condo

In late January, demolition of the Ed Monaghan Building, and three rental houses next to it, began to make way for a five-story condo building known as “The Gallery.” Built in 1952, the one-story commercial building was the former home of Family Therapy Associates and considered by some locals as a fixture of the Downtown and Old West Side historic area. The condos will sell for prices ranging $531,000 to $1,000,000.
