Set to open this month at 314 S. Main Street in Ann Arbor, Blue LLama Jazz Club will whet the appetites of those who love jazz and gourmet food. Former CEO of the software company LLamasoft, Don Hicks wanted to bring an upscale jazz venue to Downtown Ann Arbor. Hicks is working with artistic director Dave Sharp (bassist of Dave Sharp World Quartet) and executive chef Louis Goral, who has worked alongside Iron Chef Jose Garces for years. A few of the notable jazz musicians slated to play at the Blue LLama are Ellen Rowe, Adonis Rose, and Ravi Coltrane.
