California-Based Company to Create 500 Jobs in Washtenaw

KLA-Tencor Corp., a California-based semiconductor company which provides process control and yield management systems, has plans to create 500 new jobs and eventually invest up to $71.1 million in Washtenaw County. KLA-Tencor Corp. has initial plans to lease space in Ann Arbor and then to build a permanent research-and-development center in Ann Arbor or Pittsfield Township.
