Go Ahead, Try Zingerman’s New Cold Brew

Zingerman’s continues to reinforce its standing as one of Ann Arbor’s favorite institutions, this time with its coffee company, started in 2004, which is now selling its perfected Zingerman’s Cold Brew on its shelves in time for the summer heat.

The cold brew's introduction fits Zingerman’s business emphasis on serving up the freshest locally made goods.

First off, Zingerman’s brews its Indonesian and South American coffee using an innovative cold-water brewing process that lets the coffee grounds set for around 16 hours to basically eliminate the acids common in hot-water coffee brewing.

Toss in the fact that the preservative- and acidifier-free cold brew is shelf-stable for up to a year and this semi-sweet chocolate-y drink tastes better for longer. (And it’s easy to ship.)

For caffeine enthusiasts looking to steer away from traditional hot coffee and saccharine frozen drinks, this rich new cold brew is a good start.

Zingerman’s Cold Brew is available in 10 ounce glass bottles for $3.99 each and in a 4-pack for $15.99. It is also available in a case of 16 bottles. Grab a glass and drink it pre-chilled for the best flavor. Check out the latest retailers to carry it.
