A one-day film event in honor of Betty White
A special film event honoring Betty White and her career is occurring in select theatres on January 17th.
Filmmakers Steve Boettcher and Mike Trinklein offer the highlights of White’s career, as well as behind-the-scenes exclusives, personal life excursions, and sit-down interviews with White herself. The film also includes a very special exclusive–her last on-camera appearance, recorded ten days before her passing.
Many special guests are featured in the film including Ryan Reynolds, Carol Burnett, and Jennifer Love-Hewitt. They reminisce on their time spent working with White, along with personal memories and stories shared between them.
The film also showcases many of White’s most prominent roles, including clips from Golden Girls, Saturday Night Live, The Mary Tyler Moore Show and more.
“Betty White was a beloved cultural icon. We couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this coming together of her many fans,” says Daren Miller, VP of Fathom Events. This film intends to honor her legacy and bring others together in a celebration of her life.
