Greensky Bluegrass will be performing with the Infamous Stringdusters in Detroit at the Fillmore Theater.
Greensky Bluegrass is a bluegrass rock band from Kalamazoo, MI. They perform with a variety of instrumentals and their live performances are known to include electric effects and light-shows.
Accompanying the band on part of their tour are the Infamous Stringdusters. The band produces a progressive bluegrass sound, with a focus on alternative acoustics and instrumentals.
Greensky Bluegrass is expected to play a 21-song setlist of new music they have not yet toured since the pandemic. The band members have expressed their excitement about returning to the stage, but still appreciate the time that they had to develop their sound.
Paul Hoffman, mandolin player for Greensky, says “We finished ideas and kept going, thinking everything all the way through. We really put energy into each specific song and made it the best it could be.”
The band will be performing at the Fillmore on February 18th. Doors open at 7:00pm and the event begins at 8:00pm. Tickets range from $25-60 and all ages are welcomed to attend. Ticket upgrades are available including fast-lane access, coat checks, and bottomless drink passes.
The Fillmore Detroit requires all attendees to provide proof of vaccination or receive a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event.
