In time for this 7/11 (i.e. today), local budtenders are adapting Slurpees, the quintessential stoner beverage from 7-Eleven, to alleviate more than just cotton mouth. 3rd Coast Ypsilanti has connected the dots, pairing the classic slurpy with a glycerin-based THC syrup to create the Terpee.
The 16 oz. Terpees pack a 10-15 mg dosage that will mellow both your temperature and symptoms at the same time. Though the 7-Eleven self-serve option would be great, the folks behind the counter at 3rd Coast prefer to pour the drink for you. Rotating flavors include Black Cherry, Green Apple and Blue Raspberry, with more in store as summer progresses.
Also look out for customizable dosages by request in the future, which allow you to choose just how much brain-freeze you (maybe don’t) want. Budtenders will be pouring Terpees seasonally, ending this year’s run sometime in September.
