In its 56th year, the event is known for melon-related activities and a car show, but the secret gem is the Fine Arts & Crafts Show. A big feature is the open air market straight through downtown filled with food vendors and artists selling their wares. The festival lasts all weekend long, with art vendors Saturday and Sunday.
