The nonprofit, Ann Arbor Arts Center (A2AC) has a triad of events to celebrate this month. For over a century, the Ann Arbor Arts Center has been a creative hub in the local community for all ages and continues to do so.
Artini 2022: Cocktail Competition and Fundraiser for the Arts
Annually, A2AC partners up with local restaurants to craft cocktails using a mural as their inspiration. This year’s partners include Alley Bar, Aventura, Babs Underground, The Circ Bar, Nightcap, and Of Rice & Men.Â
This year A2AC will have two options for you to choose from—celebrate in-person or from the comfort of your own home!Â
- If you choose in person, the ticket price will be $80/person and the event will be at 5 pm on February 25th.Â
- If you choose to celebrate at home, the ticket price will be $150/registration (two servings of cocktails per registration). You can pick up your at-home cocktail kit anytime between February 25th and March 4th and cast your vote by 2 pm on March 4th!
For more information or to purchase at-home or in-person tickets (purchase by February 20!) can be purchased HERE.
Ann Arbor Art Center receives $100k grant
The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) has awarded A2AC with an American Rescue Plan grant (one of 567 awarded across the country) to help the arts recover from the challenges faced since the outbreak of COVID-19. Throughout the pandemic, A2AC offered virtual and outreach programming to strengthen the community through arts. The recommended funding of $100,000 will allow the Ann Arbor Arts Center to reactivate and expand their multidisciplinary programming.
