The Ringwald in Ferndale, MI will present the highly anticipated A Very Golden Girls Christmas, vol. 2: An Unauthorized Parody after Thanksgiving! The show is based on an idea by Dyan Bailey and Christopher Kamm, and is directed by Suzan M. Jacokes and the cast includes Joe Bailey as Dorthy, Al Duffy as Sophia, Richard Payton as Blanche, and Brandy Joe Plambeck as Rose.Â
It’s Christmas in Miami and Rose is directing the local center’s Christmas pageant. When food poisoning waylays the entire cast, the Girls pitch in to save the day!
Opening November 26, the show will run for 4 weeks through December 20. Tickets are $25 for performances Fridays-Sundays and $15 for Monday performances. Performances on Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays are at 8pm and Sundays will be at 3pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance HERE.
The theater will be going cashless this year, but credit cards will be accepted at the door for tickets. Masks and proof of vaccination (for audiences ages 12 or older) is required for entry.
The Ringwald is located inside of the Affirmations Community Center at 290 W. 9 Mile Road in downtown Ferndale.
