Hazel Coffee Co. is a new cafe opened in Ann Arbor at 2111 Packard St Suite 130. They are open daily from 7am to 5pm. This cafe recently opened in the fall of 2025 and quickly gained attention through its social media presence, particularly on TikTok. The owners, Hailey and Bryan, are a married duo who have used TikTok to share their journey of opening the coffee shop, bringing followers along as they make key business decisions such as seating arrangements and new drink combinations.
This café is a vibrant space filled with studying college students, busy professionals and members of the local community. The cafe’s abundant natural lighting, paired with its open layout and ample seating, makes it an ideal environment for a variety of activities. Whether customers are catching up with friends, getting work done, or studying for an exam, the space feels comfortable and inviting.
Hazel Coffee Co. offers a variety of fun coffee drinks, matchas and delightful pastry options. They use high-quality and locally sourced ingredients, which make their different homemade syrups and cold foam options stand out. Sustainably sourced matchas and coffee beans further contribute to the overall quality and care put into each beverage.
Their housemade syrups and cold foams offer unique and appealing drink options, such as banana bread, salted maple and sugar cookie, along with more classic flavors as well. The seasonal menu offers a new variety of drinks to match the vibes of each season. This makes you come back excited to try the new options.
For February, I tried Hazel’s seasonal Strawberry Chip Cloud Matcha. It was a perfectly balanced drink, with a fresh sweetness coming from the strawberry cold foam. The matcha itself was smooth and well-crafted.

We also tried their classic cappuccino, which delivered exactly what you would hope for in a traditional coffee drink. The espresso was smooth and rich, paired with a well-balanced ratio of foam to espresso. It was the perfect warm and comforting choice on a cold winter day.
Hazel Coffee Co. doesn’t stop at drinks. They offer a large pastry case filled with tempting options that make it hard to choose just one. With different pastries available each day, there’s always a variety of treats to pair with your drink for theperfect pick-me-up. We tried the blueberry muffin and the chocolate chip scone, and their sweetness and softness paired perfectly with our drinks.
In addition to pastries, Hazel Coffee Co. has partnered with Iggy’s Eggies to offer breakfast burritos. We tried the vegan sausage burrito, which was a great savory option that left us feeling full. I definitely recommend trying it with their hot sauce if you enjoy a bit of spice.
Hazel Coffee Co. is a great addition to the Ann Arbor coffee scene. The cafe is brightly lit, with plants and wonderful, friendly staff, which all around curate the perfect vibe for a coffee shop. I recommend everyone stop in and enjoy their great coffee and snacks. I’m personally excited to see what’s to come with their spring drink offerings and to give them a try.
