Chief Executive Chocolatier Nancy Biehn of Sweet Gem Confections makes fine confections from her home on the west side of Ann Arbor. She says that if you’ve had the pleasure of trying her chocolates and confections made from single-sourced cacao, local fruits, teas, herbs, and cream, you are in the lucky group of folks who have experienced the “Joy through Chocolate” that she infuses in all of her creations. TeaHaus

For tea drinkers, TeaHaus offers a Valentine’s Day Sampler set of six tins of “romantic” tea, as well as their selection of loose leaf teas, spice blends, and tea accessories. White Lotus Farms

For locally-made self-care items, White Lotus Farms has plenty of options. In addition to its food items, White Lotus Farms also sells plant-based skincare items including bath bombs, lip balms, lotions, shower steamers, and soaps. Products are available at the farm on Wednesdays or Saturdays, the Ann Arbor Farmers’ Market on Saturdays, via their Etsy shop, or at select locations around town.

Zingerman’s Candy Manufactory

Zingerman’s carries curated craft chocolate and confections from all over the world in addition to their own fresh candy bars, nut brittles, spiced peanuts, and seasonal treats.
